We didn't go often, because St. Jacobs was just far enough away from Guelph and the market busy enough to make it a fair investment of time and effort. So when we went, it was a big day trip with a stop at the Stone Crock on the way back.
Apparently the main building there was just destroyed in a huge fire. Initial reports just mentioned a 'big fire', which I took to be something like a couple stalls and some building damage or something like that, which would require shutting down the building, getting inspections and cleaning and so forth. Subsequent articles made it clear that the main building is destroyed, and the accompanying photo show the building engulfed in flame.
